One of the first ever public law records, all carved on clay or stone tablets [105]. Many of these tablets were later found to contain references to medicinal plants. Plants mentioned include: Hyoscyamus (Henbane), Mentha spicata (Spearmint) and Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice) [105].
